ANC 2D
Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2D connects our neighborhood to and serves as liaison with the District government. Administration is divided into ANC 2D01 and ANC 2D02. Essentially, everything north of the north side of California St. falls in 2D01 and the south side of the neighborhood, including the south side of California St., is 2D02. The two ANC Commissioners Dr. Dana Greenwald (2D01) and Mary Eva Candon, Esquire (2D02) address all issues affecting community members, including zoning and traffic control questions, police and fire service, and Mitchell Park issues. The Commission meets the 3rd Monday of the month (except July, August and December) at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 2200 California St. These monthly meetings are the best opportunity for residents to discover what's happening in the neighborhood, to express their views and opinions about these issues and to raise concerns.
